Another step towards deregulation of the Polish natural gas market
On October 7th 2013, Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA will introduce a new pricing policy for all natural gas instruments, traded on both the futures market and the day-ahead market, through the Polish Power Exchange.

PGNiG SA and Grupa LOTOS to jointly explore for oil and gas
On August 14th 2013, an agreement on joint operations within the Kamień Pomorski licence block was signed between Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA and LOTOS Petrobaltic SA. In practical terms, the agreement will strengthen the cooperation between the companies in exploration for and production of conventional oil and gas resources.

Improvement in the PGNiG Group’s financial performance on higher volumes of crude oil produced
In the first half-year of 2013, the PGNiG Group posted approximately PLN 1.43bn in net profit, versus PLN 45m in the same period last year. The over thirty-fold rise in net profit was driven by a substantial increase in the volumes of crude oil produced and sold after the production facility in Lubiatów and the Skarv field on the Norwegian Continental Shelf were brought on stream.

Official Opening of Lubiatów, the Largest Oil and Gas Production Facility in Poland
On July 29th 2013, Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA officially opened the Lubiatów oil and gas production facility. Construction of this facility has been the largest investment project in Poland's petroleum production industry in recent years. The opening ceremony of the facility, perceived as being of outstanding importance to both PGNiG and Poland's economy in general, was attended by Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Poland's State Treasury Minister Włodzimierz Karpiński.

PGNiG SA Posts Two-fold H1 2013 Crude Sales and Production Increase
Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA doubled its crude sales year on year in H1 2013, from 223,000 tonnes to 449,000 tonnes. Crude oil production increased more than two-fold and reached 462,000 tonnes in H1 2013, compared with 223,000 tonnes in the corresponding period of the previous year. This marked increase in output and sales followed the launch of production at two key projects - the LMG production facility and the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

PGNiG SA launches natural gas production in Pakistan

Dividend for 2012 of PLN 0.13 per share
On May 22nd 2013, the Annual General Meeting of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA granted discharge to all members of the Company's Management and Supervisory Boards in respect of their performance of duties in 2012, and made a decision concerning distribution of net profit for the 2012 financial year.

PGNiG Group Q1 2013 financial performance
The PGNiG Group has reported PLN 1.07bn in net profit for Q1 2013, relative to PLN 333m for the corresponding period of the previous year. This marked growth was made possible by the increased production and sale of oil following the launch of two strategic projects - the LMG fields, with Poland's largest oil and gas extraction facility, and the start of production on the Skarv field in Norway.

Competition for positions on the PGNiG SA Management Board
The Supervisory Board of PGNiG SA has initiated a competitive procedure for selection of members of the Management Board of PGNiG SA, in the positions of President and Vice President of Sales. The Supervisory Board will be supported in the candidate selection procedure by the MMA Sp. z o.o. Sp. k advisory firm (AMROP), which specialises in the recruitment of senior management positions.
