25.06.2010 Announcement by GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. and PGNiG SA on Gas Supplies

GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. and Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA wish to inform that natural gas supplies to domestic and industrial customers fully cover the current demand for the fuel.

Due to the fact that on June 23rd 2010, at night, gas supplies from Belarus delivered through the Vysokoye delivery point were reduced by approx. 40% as compared with the initially projected volumes, which accounted for 14% of the total gas supply volume from the countries east of Poland, PGNiG SA covered the deficit by receiving increased gas volumes via the Drozdovitse delivery point on the Polish-Ukrainian border. Thus the originally planned level of gas supplies to Poland from the eastern markets was maintained, and the changes in the supply volumes at the Vysokoye delivery point in no way affected the customers. On June 24th 2010, around 12.00 noon, the regular pressure at the Wysokoye delivery point was brought back to norm. The original structure of gas supplies from the eastern markets was restored on June 25th 2010, early in the morning.

The underground gas storage facilities owned and operated by PGNiG SA as part of the transmission system, filled with natural gas in the summer season under standard procedures, are working properly.
