12.12.2014 Announcement of PGNiG SA and GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. concerning gas supplies to Poland

Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (PGNiG SA) and Operator Gazociągów Przesyłowych GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. hereby announce that in the period from November 28th to December 12th 2014 gas supplies to Poland from the countries east of Poland were on a stable level that guaranteed safe operation of the Polish gas transmission system. All end users of gas in Poland are receiving sufficient amounts of gas to cover their requirements.

The volumes of gas received by PGNiG SA from its Russian supplier at the entry points on Poland's eastern border are below the levels ordered by the Company under the effective contract.

The average daily demand for gas in the past two weeks has reached approx. 55 million cubic metres. The system is balanced with volumes of gas imported, produced domestically and drawn from underground storage. At present, the amount of gas held in underground storage is ca. 2.28 billion cubic metres.

If the situation concerning gas supplies to Poland from across its eastern border changes, another announcement will be released.
