06.07.2009 PGNiG Capital Group at MIOGE 2009

The Moscow International Oil & Gas Exhibition was held on 22-26 June 2009. As on previous occasions, PGNiG Capital Group companies were present. Apart from PGNiG SA, the Group was represented by a number of its most important companies, such as: PNiG Kraków sp. z o.o., PNiG Jasło sp. z o.o., ZUN Naftomet sp. z o.o., ZRG Krosno sp. z o.o., BUG Gazobudowa sp. z o.o., BSiPG Gazoprojekt sp. z o.o.

MIOGE is one of the largest and most prestigious oil & gas sector exhibitions held in the Russian Federation. Since its launch in 1993, it has been held regularly, attracting hundreds of exhibitors, mainly from the Commonwealth of Independent States.

This year's MIOGE attracted approximately 900 exhibitors from 40 countries. The popularity of the show is confirmed by the fact that it could be seen by 28,000 trade visitors as estimated by the organisers. The exhibition is a high-profile show of increasing importance.

        

The exhibition was accompanied by the Russian Petroleum and Gas Congress. Among the participants in the congress were Mr. Mirosław Dobrut, Vice-President of the Management Board of PGNiG SA for Gas Production and Trading and Prof. Stanisław Rychlicki, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PGNiG SA.

PGNiG prepared an original design for its exhibition area at MIOGE 2009. Thanks to the use of a specially designed PGNiG Group logo and coherent information presentation, our six companies presented a harmonious display, ideally matching our exhibition stand, designed and prepared especially for the exhibition. Our exhibition stand presented a unique, modern aesthetics coupled with high production standards.  

The main purpose of PGNiG Capital Group's participation in MIOGE was to present itself to prospective clients. The participating PGNiG Group companies (PNiG Kraków sp. z o.o., PNiG Jasło sp. z o.o., ZUN Naftomet sp. z o.o., ZRG Krosno sp. z o.o., BUG Gazobudowa sp. z o.o., BSiPG Gazoprojekt sp. z o.o.) presented a diverse offer of services, involving, among others, hydrocarbon exploration, construction and design of gas pipelines, drilling machinery and equipment and maintenance services.

The challenges and opportunities presented to our companies by the Eastern market were also discussed by the MIOGE participants at the PGNiG Representative Office in Moscow during the meeting organised by Mr Jeremi Zarzycki, Director of the Representative Office.
