29.08.2018 PGNiG’s full-year report in a new interactive format
Polish Oil and Gas Company has published its 2017 report, containing extended descriptions of the market and regulatory environment, as well as a section presenting the Group’s short- and long-term plans. The online version of the report is interactive and enables, for instance, data analysis and a more comprehensive understanding of the processes affecting shareholder value creation.
It is PGNiG’s first report prepared based on an integrated approach, reflecting the most recent global standards. The report brings together the key information which in previous years was presented in separate documents (financial report, directors’ report, statement of compliance with corporate governance standards, sustainable development report).
'Our latest publication not only offers expanded functionalities of key importance for capital market participants, but also contains information for those seeking non-financial data,’ said Michał Pietrzyk, Vice President of the PGNiG Management Board, Finance. ‘The online report contains additional interactive tools facilitating analysis of the results. We have prepared an animated film presenting our business model, which illustrates in detail the processes and mechanisms used by the Group to build shareholder value,’ he added.
The Group’s operations are presented in an even broader context, taking into account social, environmental and labour aspects against the background of its business activities at large. The report explains how the Group identifies and manages its financial, production, social, human, intellectual and natural capitals.
Detailed information on the market and regulatory environment and on the Company’s foreign operations provides added value to the report. The information is supplemented by video clips with comments from the Management Board members, who clearly present the vision of the Group’s growth in the individual operating segments.
