26.02.2016 Changes in the Management Board of EuRoPol GAZ S.A.
On February 25th 2016, the General Meeting of EuRoPol GAZ S.A., which manages the Polish section of the Yamal gas pipeline, appointed − on PGNiG S.A.’s recommendation − Mr Piotr Tutak as President of the Management Board and Mr Krzysztof Rogala as its Second Vice-President.
The previous members of the EuRoPol GAZ Management Board had tendered their resignations earlier.
Piotr Tutak – a graduate of the Social Sciences Institute of the Pedagogical University of Cracow, he also completed post-graduate studies in public administration at the Jagiellonian University, local governance at the University of Warsaw and management at the Warsaw School of Economics. In 1996–2007, Mr Tutak was employed in public administration, at various levels, severing as an advisor to the Prime Minister in 1998–2000 and Head of Office of the Parliamentary Group of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice political party) in 2001–2005. In 2003–2016, he has held a number of supervisory and management positions at commercial-law companies, including that of Managing Director at PKO BP S.A. (2007–2008), President of the Management Board of eModus S.A. (2008–2010), and Member and then President of the Management Board of Pro-Energia Sp. z o.o. (2012–2014).
Krzysztof Rogala – a graduate of the Law and Administration Faculty of the Jagiellonian University, he also completed a post-graduate course in ‘Money and Banking’ at the University of Warsaw. In 1996–2006, Mr Rogala was employed at a number of leasing companies. In 2006–2007, he held a post at the Ministry of Economy, where his remit included diversification of energy supply sources. He also served as Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PERN Przyjaźń S.A. in 2006–2008 and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Polskie LNG Sp. z o.o. in 2007–2009. Mr Rogala was an energy expert and head of the iTAX team at the Jagiellonian Institute. He was also a member of the Supervisory Board of Bank Ochrony Środowiska, social advisor to the Minister of Environment, member of the Management Board of PKP CARGOTABOR Sp. z o.o., and member of the Political Office of the Minister of Finance.
