07.01.2009 Deliveries of natural gas at inter-connector point in Drozdowicze entirely halted

On January 7th 2009 PGNiG was informed by Lvivtransgaz that natural gas deliveries at inter-connector point in Drozdowicze on the Polish - Ukraine border will not be realised. As a result at 9 a.m. on January 7th 2009 deliveries of natural gas at inter-connector point in Drozdowicze were entirely halted. Still higher deliveries of natural gas are realised through inter-connector point in Wysokoje on the Polish - Belarus border.

Current deliveries of natural gas to Poland from Eastern direction are at the level of 84% of originally planned volumes. In order to balance amounts of deliveries for natural gas customers in Poland the use of supplies from underground gas storage facilities increased.
