19.09.2014 INFORMATION OF PGNIG SA AND GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. ON THE SUPPLY OF GAS TO POLAND

Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (PGNiG) and Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. inform that the supply of gas to Poland from the east in the period from 12 to 18 September 2014 was stable and ensured safe operation of the transmission system in Poland. All end-customers in Poland are receiving gas in line with their demand.

Last week the supply of gas to Poland (on entry points on the east, south and west) was above the national daily gas consumption, which is around 27 million m3 per day on the average. Gas collected in the underground gas storage, that is presently filled with around 2.6 billion m3, is not being used for the current needs.

Since natural gas is being injected to expanded storage facilities in Wierzchowice, Husów and Mogilno, PGNiG S.A. ordered increased gas volumes on entry points on the eastern border, while such volumes were not confirmed or delivered by Gazprom Export. The injected volumes were supplemented with supplies from the west and south.

Further communication will be published if the gas supply situation of Poland has changed. Should the situation not change, the companies will publish the next summary on the gas supply to Poland on 26 September 2014.
