06.09.2018 PGNiG to supply natural gas to Commercial Metals Company Poland
Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA has become the strategic supplier of natural gas to the Polish subsidiary of Commercial Metals Company, a global company that recycles and manufactures steel and metal products.

The contract provides for the supply of natural gas to CMC Poland from October 1st 2019 to the end of September 2022. The contracted volumes may reach up to 160 mcm of natural gas.
Commercial Metals Company is a fast-growing international steelmaking company listed on the NYSE. It has a headcount of 8,000 worldwide, including around 2,000 in Poland. The Polish subsidiary is based in the town of Zawiercie, which is home to a steel mill.
