Three new licenses in Norway
PGNiG Upstream Norway, a Norwegian subsidiary of the PGNiG Group, obtained three new licenses from the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy as part of the annual APA 2018 (Awards in Predefined Areas) licensing round. On two of them the company will act as the operator.

Agreement for oil and gas exploration in UAE
Representatives of PGNiG SA, the Ras Al Khaimah Petroleum Authority and RAK GAS LLC have signed an agreement whereby the Polish company is permitted to explore for and produce hydrocarbons in the emirate of Ras al Khaimah.

PGNiG: 2018 – another year of declining gas import volumes from Russia and growing LNG imports
The share of gas imports from Russia in total import volume fell in 2018 to less than 67%. The share of LNG imports increased to over 20%.
