02.02.2010 Gas supplies to ZCh Police at full capacity

At 10:00 p.m. on 1 February 2010, PGNiG SA will lift temporary limits on natural gas supplies to ZCh Police. The decision was dictated mainly by increasing temperatures and the reduced use of gas by individual customers stemming from them. At current temperatures, demand for gas in Poland oscillates around 50-54 million cubic metres per day.

The decision to temporarily limit supplies was made on 27 January 2010, pursuant to the commercial agreement between the companies. It was directly caused by continuing very low temperatures and the sharp increase in demand for natural gas, which reached 64-67 million cubic metres per day.
