02.07.2013 Jerzy Kurella to head the PGNiG Management Board

The Supervisory Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA decided that Mr Jerzy Kurella, current Vice-President of the PGNiG Management Board for Trade, will be the acting President of the Management Board until the new President is elected.

As part of his new responsibilities, Mr Kurella will oversee and coordinate the Company's operations related to planning and implementation of its sales policy, domestic and foreign hydrocarbon exploration and production, gas acquisition, preparation and supervision of the Group's strategy, creation of regulatory policy, human resources management, PGNiG Group security, marketing and communications, audit and control, comprehensive legal support and corporate supervision of the Group.

Mr Jacek Murawski, Vice-President of the Management Board for Finance, oversees and coordinates the Company's operations related to execution of its economic and financial strategic objectives, planning and control of investment policy in terms of finance, as well as formulation of the investment policy, including preparation and execution of investment plans.

Mr Mirosław Szkałuba, Vice-President for IT, oversees and coordinates the Company's operations related to planning, development and operation of IT systems, administration of assets (excluding network assets, mining assets and underground gas storage facilities), and cooperation with the Company's trade unions, Employee Council and other employee organisations.
