23.06.2010 Natural gas delivered to Poland with no disruptions

GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. and Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA would like to state that consumers in Poland are receiving natural gas in line with their needs. The decrease of natural gas pressure in deliveries from Belarus through cross-border point in Vysokoye was noticed in the afternoon hours on June 23rd 2010. After 5 p.m. local time the pressure returned to the usual level. As a result, the amount of natural gas delivered via Vysokoye  cross-border point will reach the level stated in the contract within the next twenty four hours.

Abovementioned changes did not affect consumers in Poland as they were receiving natural gas in line with their needs. PGNiG  SA undertakes necessary steps so in case of emergency the additional amounts of natural gas are delivered to cross-border point in Drozdovitche on the Polish-Ukrainian border. It will allow to maintain the level of natural gas deliveries stated in the contract.

If any changes concerning natural gas deliveries to Poland through Belarusian territory will occur, we will be updating our press releases.
