Transfer of documentation pertaining to the Baltic Pipe project
On 29 January 2009, the Extraordinary General Meeting of PGNiG SA approved the no-bid sale of documentation pertaining to the implementation of the Baltic Pipe project to Operator Gazociągów Przesyłowych Gaz-System SA for a net purchase price of EUR 261,465.68. The documentation has been prepared by Ramboll Oil&Gas A/S, a Danish company.

Waldemar Wójcik - Vice-President of the Management Board of PGNiG responsible for oil mining
During its meeting on 28 January 2009, the Supervisory Board of PGNiG SA named Mr Waldemar Wójcik as a Member of the Management Board of PGNiG holding the post of Vice President responsible for oil mining. His election to a term until 12 March 2011 was adopted unanimously in a secret ballot.

Statement concerning natural gas deliveries to Poland
Operator Gazociągów Przesyłowych GAZ-SYSTEM SA (GAZ-SYSTEM S.A.) and Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (PGNiG SA) announced on 26 January 2009 that the amount of natural gas deliveries from the east is in accordance with the Jamal contract. Pursuant to this contract, natural gas is being delivered to the following locations: 
  • Tietierowka, Vysokoye (on the Polish-Belarusian border),
  • Drozdowicze (on the Polish-Ukrainian border),
  • Lwówek and Włocławek on the Jamal pipeline.

GAZ-SYSTEM S.A./PGNiG SA: Announcement on natural gas deliveries to Poland
Operator Gazociągów Przesyłowych GAZ-SYSTEM SA (GAZ-SYSTEM S.A.) and Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (PGNiG SA) announce that demand for natural gas in Poland is currently being fully met. All natural gas imported from the east is being distributed.

On 12 January 2009, Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA and Zakłady Azotowe "Puławy" SA signed an agreement on the joint implementation of investment projects involving the use of natural gas, in particular natural gas of domestic origin.

Deliveries of natural gas at inter-connector point in Drozdowicze entirely halted
On January 7th 2009 PGNiG was informed by Lvivtransgaz that natural gas deliveries at inter-connector point in Drozdowicze on the Polish - Ukraine border will not be realised. As a result at 9 a.m. on January 7th 2009 deliveries of natural gas at inter-connector point in Drozdowicze were entirely halted. Still higher deliveries of natural gas are realised through inter-connector point in Wysokoje on the Polish - Belarus border.
